To us, evryn has been one of the must-watch names to emerge from the dreampunk scene in the last year or two and one of the only artists we have gone out of the way in recent times about producing an album for us. In return, he sends us this, 'lightless' -- what is a masterclass of the genre.

Fans of Sangam will recognise particular elements in evryn's style, but this Venezuelan producer is no mere imitator. There is much original concept and emotion in here, and as you listen to more of his stuff you will begin to notice his distinguished ambiance. There is a level of melancholy and despair that those who blitz their minds on SSRI pills may want to be wary of, but otherwise you should be good. evryn's is music to submerge into -- to swim inside the flood that comes after the downpour.
